2Client Agreement
This agreement is made between:
Story Foundry
(The Studio)
Client Name
(The Client)
This Agreement sets out the terms under which Story Foundry will provide professional story development and screenplay services.
1. Services
Story Foundry agrees to provide the following service(s):
Full terms and conditions follow on the next pages.
2. Project Brief
The Client wishes Story Foundry to provide the following services as detailed in the Project Brief Questionnaire attached to this pack.
3. Deliverables
Deliverables will be confirmed in writing prior to commencement of work and form part of this Agreement.
4. Fees & Payment
A 50% deposit is required before work begins.
The remaining balance is payable before the final files are delivered.
Invoices are due within 14 days of issue. Late payment may delay delivery.
5. Confidentiality
All information, scripts, concepts, treatments and supporting materials shared by the Client will be treated as strictly confidential. Story Foundry will never disclose project information to third parties without written permission unless required by law.
6. Intellectual Property
The Client retains ownership of all original ideas and materials. Ownership of commissioned work transfers to the Client once full payment has been received.
7. Cancellation
Either party may cancel by providing written notice. The initial deposit is non-refundable. The Client remains responsible for payment covering all completed work up to the cancellation date.
8. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales.
